Our integrated approach strives to address the underlying cause of disease, using a systems-oriented method, engaging both client and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership. Medical advances are helping people to live longer, but our quality of life suffers as our healthcare systems reactively treat symptoms, never really addressing the root cause. We must consider environmental impacts and lifestyle factors which influence our genetics and the development and progression of disease. We now know that symptoms appearing in one area of the body may be caused by imbalances in an entirely different body system. Our NP will evaluate the whole person, not just a set of isolated symptoms and together we embrace a journey of optimal health and wellness.
